Why Orgelia exists
Orgelia started with a pretty simple frustration: trying to buy a pleasure product online and realizing how unnecessarily difficult it is to figure out what is available and where it actually makes sense to buy it.
You find a product you like. Then you notice another shop sells the exact same thing for less. Another one has a discount. Another delivers tomorrow, while somewhere else it might take a week.
And that is within the same country.
Once you start looking at stores abroad, it gets even more complicated. The product itself might be cheaper, but shipping costs, delivery times and availability can completely change which offer actually makes sense.
At the same time, every store has a different catalogue. One shop might have the brand you are looking for, another might carry a completely different selection, and a third might have products you would never have discovered otherwise.
So finding the right product often means browsing store after store before you can even start comparing prices.
That felt unnecessarily difficult.
Same product. Different stores. Different prices. Much more choice than any single shop can offer.
More choice, in one place
Orgelia brings products from multiple stores together into one catalogue.
Instead of limiting yourself to the selection of a single retailer, you can browse products available across many different shops in one place.
That means more brands, more categories, more price points and simply a much larger variety of products to choose from.
You might come to Orgelia knowing exactly what you want.
Or you might just want to explore.
Either way, the goal is the same: give you a broader view of what is actually out there without making you visit ten different stores to find it.
Same product. Very different price.
Different products having different prices is normal.
The strange part is seeing the exact same product sold by different retailers at significantly different prices.
Sometimes the cheapest option is around the corner. Sometimes it is in another country. Sometimes a slightly more expensive offer makes more sense because it arrives faster or has cheaper delivery.
Right now, figuring that out usually falls on the shopper.
Orgelia's mission is to make that comparison easy.
We want you to be able to find the product you want, see which stores sell it, compare prices and delivery information, and choose the offer that works best for you.
No endless tabs. No manually checking five shops. No wondering whether you're unnecessarily paying more for exactly the same thing.
Pleasure products should be easy to access
There is also a bigger reason we're building Orgelia.
Pleasure products shouldn't feel difficult, confusing or unnecessarily expensive to buy.
We want to make them more accessible to everyone by making it easier to see what is available, what it costs and where it makes sense to buy it.
Aggregating products from different retailers also means people are not restricted to the selection, brands or price range of one shop.
More choice makes it easier to find something that actually fits your preferences and your budget.
Better price transparency means people can make better choices.
Better comparison means discovering that a product you thought was too expensive might actually be available somewhere else for much less.
And better information means spending less time researching and more time simply choosing what works for you.
What we're building
The Orgelia experience is built around a simple flow:
Discover. Compare. Choose.
Browse a large catalogue aggregated from multiple stores.
Find the product that suits you.
See where it is available.
Compare the offers.
Choose the store that works best for you.
Price is a big part of that, but it isn't the only thing that matters.
We also want to make it easy to compare:
- delivery times
- shipping costs
- discounts and deals
- product features
- availability
- trusted stores
- price history
Because the cheapest price isn't always the best offer, and the best offer shouldn't take half an hour of research to find.
Shopping for pleasure should feel better
We also think this category deserves a better shopping experience.
Pleasure shopping can be playful without being cheesy, sexy without being awkward and useful without feeling clinical.
The products can be fun.
The information should still be clear and trustworthy.
That's the balance we're trying to create with Orgelia.
Where we are now
Orgelia is currently in pre-launch.
The first version of the site is live, while we're building the product catalogue and comparison experience behind it.
Next comes broader product discovery, live store price comparison, deals, price history and price alerts.
Over time, we want Orgelia to become the easiest place to answer two very simple questions:
What should I buy? And where should I buy it?
What comes next
We're starting with product aggregation and price comparison, but the bigger goal is to make discovering and buying pleasure products easier overall.
That means helping people find products that suit them, discover a much wider selection, understand the differences between products, see what they should actually cost, and find a good place to buy them.
Less searching.
More choice.
Less overpaying.
Building in public
We're building Orgelia publicly because there is a lot in this category that can be improved: fragmented product catalogues, inconsistent pricing, awkward stores, vague product information, clunky filters and comparison work that is still mostly left to the shopper.
We'll share what we're building, what we're learning and how Orgelia develops along the way.
